These terms govern your use of Sprig (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sprig (16 in parts of Europe, depending on local digital consent laws). By using the App, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement for your jurisdiction.
If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission before using the App, especially before making any subscription purchases.

Sprig offers a free tier with limited AI scans per day and a premium subscription with unlimited features. Subscription pricing is shown in the App and may vary by region and currency.
Premium subscriptions come with a free trial period (currently 7 days). At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel beforehand. We don't send reminders before the trial ends, so set your own if needed.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Your payment method will be charged through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

If you cancel, you'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period. There are no partial refunds for unused time.
All subscription billing is handled by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be made directly to them according to their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for in-app purchases ourselves.
We may change subscription prices. If we do, you'll be notified in the App and via Apple or Google before the change takes effect. You can cancel before the new price applies.
Sprig is not medical advice. The App provides estimates of calorie and macronutrient content for tracking purposes, but:

You retain ownership of any content you create in the App (your meals, notes, photos). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely to provide and improve the service. We don't claim ownership of your data, and we won't use it for marketing or sell it to anyone.
Photos you take for AI analysis are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) and not used for training. See our privacy policy for details.
The Sprig name, logo, app design, code, content, and all related materials are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our permission.
The App uses AI to analyse photos, identify foods, estimate nutrition, and generate coaching content. By using these features, you understand that:
We do our best to keep Sprig running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors outside our control (such as outages of Apple, Google, OpenAI, or Supabase). We won't be liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.
You can stop using Sprig at any time. To fully delete your account and data, use the "Delete account" option in Settings or email support@trysprig.co.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or for any reason at our discretion, with or without notice. If we terminate your account due to a violation of these terms, you're not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:
Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any third party's rights.
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify you in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where you have a non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
Before bringing any formal dispute, please contact us at support@trysprig.co so we can try to resolve it directly.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right. You can't assign these terms to anyone else; we can assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. These terms (together with our privacy policy) form the complete agreement between us about the App.
